Kiera and Olivia, the winners of our Swindon Youth Festival of Literature Illustration competition, had the amazing opportunity of attending the winners workshop at Swindon Central Library with the author/illustrator Steve Antony. 24 students from schools across Swindon.
Year 10 enjoyed using biscuits to learn about Structure and Form in their GCSE music lessons this week! 🍪🎶
Y7 had an adventurous time exploring the sand dunes of Berrow. The students investigated plant coverage & wind speed of the fixed dunes &their role as a coastal defence. Then moved to Burnham on Sea where they completed field sketches & surveys. A fun time was had by all.

Congratulations Falcon House. Falcon House were the term 5 winners of the Character Counter trophy. This is the first time Kingfisher and Osprey have been beaten to the trophy - great work Falcon House!!

A Speakers for Schools event was broadcast on 5 June. Matthew Inada-Kim, Consultant in Acute Medicine & National Clinical Director of Infection, inspired our students about the world of infection & Covid. An amazing opportunity & a big thank you to @speakrs4schools for the event
Some great fundraising took place recently during our school’s charity week. Kingfisher house raised a fantastic £316.35 which was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
