Our school meals can be paid for in cash or via a biometrics system in order to pay electronically.
The biometrics system is called Biostore and this works by scanning several points on the student’s finger tip to record a small amount of encrypted electronic data. For full information about this system please see below:
The Dorcan Academy has a system called “School Comms” to enable parents to pay for school meals and trips electronically.
The School Gateway App can be downloaded via the school website in order to make payments via School Comms.
Information sent out about trips that are taking place enables the parent to give consent and make payments electronically.
