We offer a bespoke intervention programme of sessions to our students to accelerate their progress, which have a specific whole school or subject focus. Any student who is not on track to achieve their target grade, whatever it may be, may be requested for intervention.
Students may be requested to attend by any subject on any evening and will be booked with at least 24 hours notice by a note in their Link book. All sessions run 3.15-4.15pm unless otherwise informed by the teacher.
Attendance is expected for all students who have been requested by the teachers but any other student is able to attend voluntarily as long as they aren’t allocated to another subject at that time.
All Year 11 students are placed in an intervention group during their afternoon tutor session. This group will change throughout the year and has primarily been focused on their Core and EBacc subjects, or an opportunity to complete independent revision utilising GCSE Pod.
