After School Clubs

Extra-curricular activities are organised by staff to provide extension and enrichment of the official curriculum.

To give prospective parents some indication of the opportunities which may be available to their children, the following list represents extra-curricular activities that have been provided in the immediate past.

An up to date timetable of activities offered at the school is published at the beginning of each term.

• School teams and practices in a wide range of sports
• Instrumental, performing and vocal activities
• Drama productions
• Use of the art rooms during breaks and after school
• Coding Club
• The Dorcan newsletter club
• Access to staff in the Learning Centre after school to support with homework
• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Club)
• Media, history, geography, business, ICT and modern languages clubs
• Holiday Clubs for revision
• Theatre trips
• Duke of Edinburgh Award activities and expeditions
• Residential trips abroad to support learning to France, Austria and USA
