As part of our Year 7 after-school enrichment we have STEM Club – the students have been studying ‘Engineering in a Pandemic’ as part of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s education pack. The students in the STEM Club have modelled the virus and lateral flow testing. They are currently building wind tunnels as part of the respiratory challenge in which they have to design and test their own face masks.
